Bowl, unknown provenance; Chinese; Qing dynasty 1644–1911; ceramics, blue-and-white porcelain. Bowl on a low ring foot, decorated on the body with a rice grain rice pattern ornament and geometric-plant borders; in the mirror a lotus flower in a double circle. Floral and plant ornaments, lotuses. 18th–19th century, China; vessel; height 5.5 cm, diameter 10.3 cm., A small porcelain bowl sits against a plain light gray background, showing a rounded body with a short foot. The bowl is primarily white with blue decorative bands and motifs: a dark blue patterned band near the rim featuring interlaced geometric shapes, a thinner blue line beneath it, and a blue wave-like band near the foot. The interior rim also displays blue decorative elements. The white body has a subtle raised leaf-like pattern visible as pale bluish-green shapes against the white surface. The bowl casts a soft reflection on the glossy surface below, and the visible colors are white, several shades of blue, pale bluish-green, and light gray.
