Brown container with two handles and a lid in a navy blue brocade bag silk. Dark brown, porous wheel-thrown clay; light brown glaze with rough air bubble cracks; applied plastic handles. 19th century; Japan, Owari. Vessel: height 6.3 cm; diameter 5 cm., A small rounded ceramic vessel with a short neck and a narrow open mouth, showing a textured surface with a few small handles near the neck; the vessel displays shades of brown and tan with darker brown speckles and patches and a slightly rougher, darker base, set against a smooth gray background.
