Stoneware bowl on a low, round foot; rough surface; partly glazed with white milky and grey-bluish glazes with numerous spots and drips, gold-lacquer veins. Fillings and gluing made with gold lacquer. Function: tea vessel chawan. Height 8.4 cm; diameter 13.5 cm., A top-down view of a round bowl with a weathered, speckled interior surface showing a few cracks and repaired seams; the bowl displays tones of gray, beige, brown, and a few touches of gold along some of the repaired lines, set against a solid light gray background.
