Vase, noted. Chinese, 19th century. Colored porcelain vessel, height 61 cm, diameter 19.6 cm. Slightly tapering toward the bottom with a thick neck slightly flared upward and two small handles shaped like a plum blossom branch. Body decorated with an elaborate battle scene of warriors on foot and on horseback; neck shows a dignitary surrounded by her entourage. Features figurative scenes, plant ornaments, horses, warriors, landscapes, and battle scenes., A tall ceramic vase with a crackled off-white surface decorated with ornate painted scenes in green, pink, red, orange, brown, black, and yellow hues; the vase has a flared neck and a rounded body with a decorative band near the top and bottom featuring green and brown patterns, and the main body shows a group of stylized figures and ornamental motifs, some wearing green and pink garments, surrounded by foliage-like shapes in green and brown, curved decorative elements in pink and green, and small ground accents in dark green, with a pair of small applied dark brown handles on the neck and a slightly worn light brown rim.
