Gu-type vase, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 19th century. Ritual/ceremonial vessel inspired by the cult gu shape with four convex, interrupted strips. Decoration: on the belly, oval reserves with stylized peonies on a grained background. Porcelain/ceramic vessel, height 16 cm, diameter 12.2 cm., A single metallic vessel stands centered against a neutral gray background, displaying a warm golden-bronze color with subtle iridescent patches of green and pink on its surface. The vessel has a flared, trumpet-like upper section with a rounded rim and two curved, stylized protrusions on opposite sides, each showing engraved linear details. The midsection tapers into a rounded, bulbous body decorated with two symmetrical framed panels and faint engraved motifs. The lower portion rests on a stepped, circular base accented by outward-curving, petal-like projections and engraved decorative lines, all sharing the same golden-bronze tone with spots of darker patina.
