Incense burner on four legs. Decoration in flat relief. 18th century, China. Incense burner. Height 10.5 cm, diameter 10.0 cm., A rounded three-legged bronze vessel with a lid, shown against a neutral gray background, displaying a dark brown and greenish patina. The body of the vessel is bulbous with a slightly narrower shoulder and rests on three short, curved legs. A handle or spout-like projection extends from the shoulder toward the viewer. The surface of the body has raised decorative motifs in a slightly lighter bronze tone, including floral and curling designs. The lid is domed with ribbed sections and a small sculpted finial on top, all sharing the dark brown and greenish bronze coloration. The overall tones visible are dark brown, bronze, and green.
