Ding-type incense burner with cover, from Ignacy Jan Paderewski 1860–1941, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, Qianlong period 1736–1795, ceremonial ding vessel/censer decorated with lotus plant ornament, 1736–1795, China; height 11.5 cm, diameter 11.0 cm, A rounded tripod vessel with two upright handles, decorated in a dense scrolling floral pattern in turquoise, green, pink, blue, gold, brown, and purple; the body shows stylized flowers and curling vine motifs outlined in gold over a predominantly turquoise and green ground with areas of pink and blue; the rim and handles feature bands and linear patterns with gold accents, and the three stout legs are similarly patterned and tipped with gold; the interior appears darker with metallic tones, and the background is a plain light gray.
