The entire vessel is richly decorated with plant motifs—leaves, twigs, carnations, and tendrils. On one side of the belly is a blank shield. The handle is decorated with images of spotted animals with large ears and open mouths; a hinge at the upper edge of the handle indicates the vessel originally had a lid.
