Height 40 cm; diameter 32 cm; weight 2.4 kg., A hanging metal lantern suspended by a group of chains, with a hooked top and three long linked chains converging at the hook, the chains and metal are brass-colored and aged, the lantern has a domed, perforated upper section with intricate geometric and floral openwork in brass tones, a decorative finial atop the dome with brass coloring, a circular rim below the dome with engraved patterns in a similar brass hue, and a skirt of several cylindrical, pierced pendants at the bottom that show darker copper and bronze tones; the background is a neutral light gray.
