Arabic inscriptions; geometric ornament. Height 40 cm, diameter 32 cm, weight 2.4 kg. Culture: Islamic, Arabic., A hanging ornate metal lantern suspended by a few long chains from a single hook, with a domed top and a decorative finial; the lantern is predominantly brass-colored with darker bronze accents and features intricate openwork patterns and geometric filigree across the dome and lower rim, and a row of cylindrical decorative elements hanging beneath the rim.
