Teapot, 19th century, Turkish Ottoman dynasty, 1299–1922. Silver vessel teapot, height 17.0 cm, diameter 10.9 cm, weight 320 g. Decoration: geometric motifs, plant ornament lambrequin, zigzag. Function: teapot/jug. Culture: Islamic art., A metallic pitcher with a rounded, bulbous lower body tapering to a narrower midsection and topped by a domed lid with a small finial, shown against a plain light background; the pitcher displays decorative etched patterns around the neck, midsection, and near the base, with a curved spout on one side and a slender handle attached on the opposite side; visible colors include silver tones of the metal and subtle variations of gray.
