Ganesha, 19th century, India. Sculpture height 26.0 cm, width 17.5 cm. The deity sits on a double lotus throne placed on a rectangular flat base; the whole is mounted on a large, strongly profiled pedestal. At the back of the figure is a circle of fire. The figurine consists of three parts: a statuette inserted onto a pedestal and a fire ring inserted into the pedestal holes using two pins. Iconography: Indian/Hindu art — elephants, lotus throne, halos, birds, rats, fire, crowns/tiaras, tusks, mounts, armor; associated with Shaivism., A sculpted figure seated on a tiered rectangular base, framed by a decorative circular halo with flame-like motifs around its rim; the sculpture combines a darker bronze-like tone for the central figure with a brighter gold tone for the halo and base, showing detailed carved ornamentation and textured surfaces, with the figure posed with multiple raised arms and a trunk-like facial feature, wearing a tiered headdress and ornate adornments, and the halo topped by a stylized face-like element, all set against a plain pale gray background.
