Decoration: figurative scenes of hunting, human figures, animals, demons in cartouches; dense arabesque background with plant motifs, fantastic creatures dragons, beasts, riders, acrobatics; Islamic art., A decorative metal vessel with a lid and pedestal base sits against a plain light gray background; the vessel is dark brown with areas of muted brass tones and features intricate openwork filigree and rounded medallion panels around its bulbous midsection and dome-shaped lid, and the lid is topped by a small finial that shows a slightly lighter brass color, while the pedestal and rim display repeating engraved patterns and the overall surface shows a subtle aged patina.
