Behind the figure is a halo area washed in pink and surrounded by decorative swirling cloud-like motifs drawn in black on a yellow background. The figure’s hands rest in the lap holding beads and a cloth, both rendered with black outlines and light washes of pink and yellow. Along the edges are fragments of additional smaller faces and ornamental lines. The paper shows aged cream and beige tones with uneven discoloration and some small blemishes and tears, and there is a narrow green strip across the top. The visible colors are pink, yellow, green, black, cream, and beige.
