Bowl, Chinese colored porcelain saucer-vessel with floral decorations and meander ornament; Qing dynasty, Guangxu period 1875–1908, 2nd half of the 19th century; related to Boxer Rebellion 1899–1901; height 2.7 cm, diameter 7.5 cm., A small circular porcelain dish with a white interior and a gilded rim, decorated inside with a group of round medallion motifs and flowing ribbon-like shapes in colors including pale green, pink, orange, blue, purple, and gold, and a patterned border around the inner edge in alternating turquoise, green, and pink with gold highlights; the background surrounding the dish is a uniform gray.
