Lilies, cloisonné enamel, chrysanthemums, wolfberries, sakura, butterflies, dragonflies, kachôga. Vase with a thick neck, parted towards the spout. Cloisonné enamel on copper. The spout and foot are enclosed by brass rings. Ca. 1870–1880 Meiji Period, 1868–1912. Japan, Nagoya. Vessel. Height 26.5 cm; width 15.5 cm., A small decorative vase with a flared rim and rounded body sits against a neutral gray background; its surface is predominantly bright blue with a detailed floral and bird design in colors including red, pink, white, green, dark blue, black, and gold tones, featuring blossoms, leaves, and a bird with blue and brown plumage amid leafy stems, and a patterned band of darker colors and floral motifs near the top, with a thin metallic rim and a reflective base showing a faint mirrored image.
