Bronze helmet, 4th–3rd century BC, Italy, armament; height 27 cm without cheek guards, width 19.8 cm, depth 24 cm, weight 0.738 kg without cheek guards, A pair of large, irregularly shaped metal plates with rounded lower edges are shown against a gray background, each plate displaying patinated surfaces in shades of brown, green, and blue with darker mottled areas; the left plate has a few raised oval bumps near its top and a small hole near its lower edge, while the right plate mirrors the left in shape with similar raised areas and small holes and shows patches of bluish-green corrosion; to the right of the pair floats a small, separate metal fragment that is golden-brown with a short protruding piece.
