The left plate has a raised rim and a few small darker spots and streaks across its surface, along with a small circular hole near its lower edge, while the right plate mirrors the shape with similar raised edges, scattered darker patches, and a small hole near its lower outer edge; both pieces have a slightly rough, mottled texture and a thin raised strip near their top edges.
