Harpocrates; preserved head and part of the right side of the figurine; traces of engobe on the entire surface and pink paint under the right elbow; Hellenistic or Roman period, Egypt; terracotta figurine; height 10.3 cm, width 3.8 cm, depth 3.4 cm., A fragment of a sculpted head and partial torso in a rough, brown-weathered material, showing a rounded face with simplified features and a small projecting mouth, a suggestion of closed eyes, and a smooth forehead topped by a small bowlike form; the surface has patches of lighter beige and small white speckles, with areas of darker brown and reddish-brown texture where the material is broken, all set against a neutral light gray background.
