Fragment of a female figurine. Fragment of a small-sized sculpture or sculptural group with portrait features. Oval face, large nose, mouth closed in a slight grimace. 2nd–3rd century AD, Egypt. Terracotta figurine sculpture. Height 8.5 cm, width 4.5 cm, depth 5.5 cm., A carved stone head viewed in profile against a plain light gray background, showing a smooth, rounded top and stylized hair rendered with subtle grooves; the facial features include a pronounced forehead, a defined nose, gently closed lips, and a softly rounded chin. The surface of the stone displays a pale off-white to creamy beige coloration with variations of light tan and faint speckles, and areas of slight translucency and natural grain. The overall texture appears polished in places and slightly rough in others, with soft shadows accentuating the form.
