Ushabti. Carelessly made figurine with schematic facial features, in a narrow wig revealing the ears, with a rather short beard. In his hands he holds a mattock. The back is flat; the end of the wig is marked with an engraved line. Feet on a pedestal. Glaze almost completely worn away. Third Intermediate Period, Egypt. Ushabti; height 6.5 cm, width 2.1 cm, depth 1.3 cm., A small worn figurine with a tapered, elongated body and a rounded head, showing a rough, pitted surface texture with several irregular spots of darker coloration; the object displays muted beige and tan tones with areas of blue-green and gray mottling, and appears to have faint, shallow contours suggesting facial features and shoulder forms while the lower end is slightly flattened.
