Terra sigillata plate, 2nd half of the 5th century, Tunisia; plate; height 17.4 cm, width 4.6 cm., A shallow terracotta bowl with a wide flanged rim sits against a plain light gray background; the bowl is a warm reddish-brown color with areas of lighter dusty residue and small worn patches, showing a rough matte surface and a few chips along the rim and one chipped lip that exposes a paler clay interior, and there is a subtle shadow beneath the bowl on the gray surface.
