Terra sigillata plate. Flat plate with a very low foot and a rather flat, wide rim. Made of clay with orange glaze. 2nd half of the 4th century. Found in Tunisia. Plate, diameter 33.5 cm, height 5.6 cm., A low, shallow terracotta dish with a wide, flat rim and a slightly raised base sits centered against a pale background; the dish shows a weathered surface with irregular pale patches and scratches, and its colors include reddish-brown, lighter beige scuffs, and subtle gray shadows on the underside and background.
