Terracotta figurine of Heracles. Figurine of a standing naked Heracles in a contrapposto pose with a cloak thrown over his back. His right hand rests on a rock, and in his left he probably holds a club. Terracotta, made from a mold. Subject: Heracles Greek mythology. Height 14.3 cm. Date: 2nd–1st century BC. Place of origin: Asia Minor. Condition of preservation: good., A small rough sculpture sits against a plain gray background; the object appears worn and irregularly shaped with a rounded top and a blocky base, showing textured surfaces and chisel-like contours. The visible colors include shades of beige, tan, light brown, dusty pink, and pale gray, with some areas appearing slightly darker and earthier. The form casts subtle soft shadows and displays uneven surfaces, pits, and natural-looking cracks, giving an overall matte, stone- or clay-like appearance.
