Terracotta figurine of Heracles, terracotta, figurines of nude men, Heracles mythology, Greek mythology, figurines made of molds. Figurine of a standing naked Heracles in a contrapposto pose. He has a cloak thrown over his back. His right hand rests on a rock, and in his left he probably holds a club. Condition of preservation: good. 2nd–1st century BC, Asia Minor, figurine, height 14.3 cm., A roughly conical clay object with an uneven surface and a rounded top, showing a large irregular oval opening on one side that reveals a hollow interior; the surface texture appears rough with small pits and scratches and areas of lighter and darker wear; visible colors include tan, beige, light brown, and hints of reddish-brown against a plain gray background.
