Terracotta figurine of Heracles, terracotta, figurines of nude men, Heracles mythology, Greek mythology, figurines made of molds. Figurine of a standing naked Heracles in a contrapposto pose. He has a cloak thrown over his back. His right hand rests on a rock, and in his left he probably holds a club. Condition of preservation: good. 2nd–1st century BC, Asia Minor, figurine, height 14.3 cm., A weathered stone sculpture of a standing nude figure with a rounded head and downturned gaze, carved in a rough, textured style and attached to a block-like base; the figure appears to have a cloak or drapery hanging from the shoulders and along one side, with visible surface erosion and tool marks. The colors visible are muted tan, beige, pale pink, light brown, and hints of gray and yellow against a solid gray background.
