Figurine of a standing naked Heracles in a contrapposto pose with a cloak thrown over his back. His right hand rests on a rock, and in his left he probably holds a club. Condition of preservation: good. 2nd–1st century BC, Asia Minor, figurine, height 14.3 cm, A worn stone figurine of a standing person shown in profile on a neutral gray background, the figure carved with a rounded head, a suggestion of facial features, and a short hairstyle or head covering; the body appears clothed with a draped form extending to a square base, showing surface weathering, small pits, and abrasions; the stone displays tones of beige, tan, light brown, pale pink, and traces of yellow and greenish discoloration, with faint white veining and patches of darker brown.
