Oil lamp, unknown Germanic workshop or other provincial?. Molded lamp. Round vessel. Arms sloping outward, separated from the disc by a convex edge. Three bars arranged on the arms two symmetrically on the sides, the third opposite the burner. Concave, flat disc with one large centrally located oil hole. Medium-length wick channel, decorated in the center with a wide flat groove bounded by two convex edges. Rounded end of the burner. Large wick hole. No blackening. 1st–2nd century AD, Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Oil lamp. Height 3.4 cm; width 8 cm; depth 5.3 cm. Buchi type Xa = Loeschcke type X lamp., A single elongated, irregularly shaped object with a rounded bottom and a slightly concave top floats against a plain gray background; its surface shows a rough, uneven texture with pits and small bumps, and the visible colors include dark brown, muted brown, gray, and hints of black and olive tones, with some lighter brown highlights along raised areas.
