Fragment of a transport amphora stamped with a Rose of Rhodes and the inscription Chresimou, ca. 280–ca. 220 BC, Rhodes; vessel stamped body, height 6.8 cm, width 10 cm, A roughly cylindrical, tapered object with a flared rim and a rounded base displayed against a neutral gray background; the surface is a sandy beige with scattered small black speckles and a few darker spots, and there are areas of slightly darker brownish-beige where the texture appears rougher or chipped, including a small indentation on one side and a worn, uneven rim.
