Pear-shaped vial, unknown Eastern workshop. The body is a slightly elongated sphere with a flattened bottom. The long cylindrical neck exceeds the height of the body and ends with an outwardly curled horizontal rim. The surface on both sides of the joint between body and neck is decorated with a thin, grooved spiral line. 1st–2nd century, Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Vessel; height 17.5 cm, width 8.5 cm., A rounded bottle with a long narrow neck and a flared rim, showing irregular patches and streaks of muted green, gray, and tan across its surface, with a slightly translucent, weathered appearance and subtle reflections at its base.
