Materials: kaolin clay; painted ceramic., A fragment of pottery with a tan base and reddish-brown painted decoration sits against a smooth gray background. The pottery shard shows a curved rim with a few concentric reddish-brown bands and a painted central motif consisting of intersecting lines and four petal-like shapes in the same reddish-brown color. The exposed clay edge is a slightly darker tan with some rough texture.
