In the centre of the middle wing of the triptych, against the background of a star consisting of two rhombuses, is depicted Our Lady with the youthful Christ on her breast. On either side stand holy bishops Basil and Nicholas?. Angels are depicted above, and a cherub is on the axis. The wing is topped with an image of Christ the Savior, not made by human hands. The background is filled with light green enamel. Significant enamel loss is visible on the edges. The reverse shows traces of a sharp tool. 17th century, Veliky Novgorod; icon; height 7 cm, width 4.5 cm., A small rectangular metal plaque with a rounded top and a cloud-like protrusion, showing a raised central scene and decorative figures. The plaque has worn areas and a patina with green and brown tones, and darker brown edges. In the central area there is a raised depiction of a robed figure with a smaller figure in front, framed by an angular geometric outline, and flanked by standing figures on each side. Above the central scene are two small reclining animal-like forms and an additional small face within the rounded top. The surface shows textured casting marks and areas of lighter and darker greenish oxidation against the brown metal.
