Bowl, Egyptian workshop; mosaic glass, glass vessel with floral patterns. Bowl with a flat bottom whose walls widen evenly toward the top then narrow at the rim; cut flat at the top. Made of thick glass using the mosaic technique; floral patterns in blue, purple, yellow, green, and white. Type: Isings form 1. Semicircular bowl; sagging on the form; 1st century, Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Vessel; height 3 cm, width 13.5 cm., A shallow, broken bowl with an irregular rim showing a jagged gap, decorated with swirling, concentric patterns in shades of blue, brown, beige, and white; the surface shows areas of glossy and matte texture with worn and rough patches, and the interior and exterior share the same patterned design, all set against a pale gray background with a subtle reflected shadow beneath.
