Alabastron with feathered decoration, Egyptian workshop, 6th–4th century BC, unknown place of origin; vessel alabastron, height 10.6 cm, width 3.7 cm., A narrow, elongated vase-shaped object with a flared rim and a long neck, showing a pattern of alternating dark blue and pale blue bands forming chevron-like feather shapes along the body; the piece has a glossy surface with areas of worn or rough texture and patches of sandy beige residue, and a pair of small rounded protrusions on opposite sides of the neck; the dominant colors visible are dark blue, pale blue, beige, and small hints of rusty orange.
