Alabastron with feathered decoration, Egyptian workshop, 6th–4th century BC, unknown place of origin; vessel alabastron, height 10.6 cm, width 3.7 cm, A narrow elongated glass vessel with a flared rim and a rounded pointed base, decorated with featherlike alternating bands creating a repetitive chevron pattern; the object shows areas of surface encrustation and weathering. The visible colors are deep blue, pale blue, white, and tan. The vessel has small rounded protrusions near the neck and a glossy glass surface with irregularities and worn spots.
