Surface decorated with a zigzag ornament applied with irregular threads. 3rd–4th century AD, Roman Empire 27 BC–476, vessel, height 11 cm, A translucent glass vessel with a rounded bowl and a flared rim sits on a flattened foot; the glass is a pale olive-green color with visible bubbles and streaks, and raised twisted trails of the same glass wrap around the body forming an irregular lattice. The surface shows a few rough areas and small inclusions, and the foot has a textured pattern in the same green tone. The background is a plain light color that contrasts with the olive-green glass.
