Ushabti Psamtyk-seneb, wigs, funerary figurine, hieroglyphs, beards facial hair, Psamtyk-seneb ca. 747–332 BC, back pillar/pilaster, grave goods, mummy-shaped figurine standing on a base, back supported by a pillar. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left. In the right hand a long-bladed hoe, in the left a pickaxe; handles of both hoes rolled up at the ends. A bag slung over the left shoulder on a single string on the back. Three-part smooth wig; long tapering beard braided into a plait. Engraved inscription in one column on a pilaster reading Osiris Psammetik-seneb born of Jerou justified by the voice. 664–332 BC; Late Period, Egypt. Shabti; height 12.5 cm, width 3 cm., A small upright figurine viewed from the back, with a slender elongated body and a rounded head, standing on a short rectangular base; the surface shows a weathered, slightly rough texture with visible chips and small cracks; the left side of the figure has a series of incised vertical shapes and shallow relief elements while the right side is smoother and more rounded; the colors visible are shades of turquoise, green, pale blue, with areas of brownish tan and muted gray where the surface is worn.
