Amulet - figurine of a lion-headed goddess possibly Uajit or Sekhmet seated on a throne; Egyptian, Late Period, 664–332 BC. Material: amulet; dimensions: height 4.5 cm, width 1 cm., A small carved figurine shown from the back, with a weathered surface in shades of green, pale green, beige, brown, and hints of bluish-green; the figure has a rectangular base and a tapered torso with stylized arms that curve down along the sides, a head with short vertical ridges at the top and rounded ear-like shapes, and surface mottling and spots in darker brown and tan; a small rectangular patch of tan material with dark markings is affixed near the lower back of the base; the background is a smooth mid-gray that fades slightly toward the bottom.
