Amulet - djed pillar, A brown glass amulet in the shape of a djed pillar with five crossbars and a tall, slender leg that widens significantly at the bottom. Djed pillars iconography; protective amulet; grave goods; hieroglyphs. Ptolemaic Period, 332–30 BC, Egypt. Amulet; height 5.6 cm, width 2.1 cm., A single vertical object with a textured surface, appearing to be made of a dark reddish-brown material with areas of deeper red and small flecks of lighter color, set against a plain light gray background; the object has a rectangular top section with a series of horizontal ridges, a narrower midsection that tapers and shows a few raised rings, and a flared base that widens into a flat foot with a notched edge.
