Amulet - standing god Osiris; Light yellow glass; 332–30 BC, Ptolemaic Period, Egypt; amulet; height 3.6 cm, width 1.6 cm; Egyptian deities; Osiris; Egyptian religion, An elongated, irregular object with a central narrow shaft and flared, wing-like projections near the top, appearing to be made of a hard, glossy material with a worn and dirty surface; the object shows a mix of off-white and yellowed areas with brownish grime and smudges, and a rectangular patch of muted reddish-brown material adhered near the upper middle, with traces of darker brown spots and fine fibrous debris around it; there are also several small red marks along the lower portion of the shaft, and the background is a uniform light gray.
