Amulet — god Horus; dark blue glass; Ptolemaic Period, 332–30 BC, Egypt; amulet; height 4.6 cm, width 1.3 cm; Egyptian deities; Egyptian religion., A single elongated object with an irregular, roughly rectangular top and a tapered bottom, shown against a plain light gray background; the object is predominantly deep blue with areas of darker and lighter blue, and it has a worn, uneven surface texture with visible chips and rough spots; there is a central patch of muted orange-pink material adhered to the surface, with portions flaking and showing underlying blue and pale off-white material; there are traces of a reddish pigment on the lower portion and small areas of dark grayish residue across the object.
