Amulet plaque depicting the god Hapi. Relief figurine shown in right profile as a mummified figure with the head of a baboon wearing a wig. In front of the god is an ostrich feather on a banner, connected to the body with a piece of decorative material. Mat under the feet. Presumably an element of a mummy net. Late Period, 26th Dynasty, Egypt, 664–525 BC. Amulet; height 6.2 cm, width 2.6 cm., A vertically oriented, irregular rectangular object with rounded corners and a few small holes near the top and bottom edges, showing a mottled surface in shades of green and brown with areas of lighter and darker green, rusty brown spots, thin darker vein-like lines and tiny pits, set against a uniform gray background.
