Amulet - ibis, amulet depicting an ibis, bird pendant, sacred animal associated with Egyptian religion, Late Period, 664–332 BC, Egypt; height 1.7 cm, width 3.6 cm, A small sculpted object shaped like a reclining animal with a rounded back and elongated snout, rendered in a pale green glaze with a network of fine cracks and scattered brown speckling; the surface shows areas of darker brown discoloration and worn spots, a circular hole near the top of the back, and a darker recess within the mouth area; the piece rests on a flat base that shares the same pale green and mottled brown coloration.
