Necklace with a scarab and an udjat eye. Necklace composed of six rows of faience tubular and disc-shaped beads, divided into short sections by faience and glass beads. Two amulets – a scarab and the eye of Horus udjat. c. 1650–1800 BC, Egypt. Jewelry/amulet, height 70 cm., A beaded necklace arranged in an oval shape on a neutral background, composed of several strands of small cylindrical beads primarily in shades of blue, interspersed with a few beads in green, cream, red, yellow, and brown; there are a few larger round and oblong beads placed at intervals, including a dark metallic oblong bead and a few round beads in green, yellow, red, and dark blue with spotted patterns; the strands are grouped and tied together with small cream and green spacer beads and the closure area includes a flat blue component.
