Figurine of a goddess, Figurine of a standing woman in a narrow dress with straps. The dress is decorated with a mesh motif with rhombus dots; the straps are decorated with vertical and horizontal stripes. A necklace is worn on the neck. The head, feet, and left hand are missing; the right hand hangs alongside the body. Possibly Neith mythology? c. 945–c. 715 BC; Third Intermediate Period, 22nd Dynasty, Egypt. Terracotta? material unspecified. Figurine; height 11.3 cm, width 3 cm, weight 0.19 kg., A slender headless and armless torso-shaped object with one partial arm remaining, rendered in dark brown and black tones with areas of reddish and greenish discoloration, decorated across its front with a repeating pattern of metallic gold circular dots and intersecting petal-like shapes, a gold-decorated bodice area with horizontal-striped triangular motifs, and a gold collar-like motif at the neck; the surface appears textured and worn with irregular edges and small holes, set against a plain light gray background.
