Figurine of the god Osiris; mummy-shaped male deity sculpture, painted; Egyptian, Late Period, 26th Dynasty, 664–525 BC; height 29 cm, width 6.8 cm, depth 4 cm; inscriptions/attributes of Osiris crowns, iconography., A bronze statuette of a standing figure shown in profile on a clear rectangular base, the figure facing right with a tall conical headdress and a long braided beard; the surface shows a mottled dark brown and black patina with areas of greenish and golden highlights, and a few spots of lighter brown corrosion; the figure's arms are held close to the body, hands grasping a long narrow object that has alternating dark and golden bands; the body is slender with smooth contours, visible textured pitting on the torso and legs, and the base of the feet resting flat on the clear support against a neutral gray background.
