Jug with a handle with zoomorphic decoration: procession of hens; made 1949 by Antoni Kenar 1906–1959, sculptor; co-creators: Office of Production Aesthetics Supervision Warsaw; 1947–1949 and State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Zakopane Zakopane; est. 1876; materials: ceramics; features: zoomorphic representations, linear patterns, painted decorations; unique item; vessel; place of origin: Zakopane; dimensions: height 18.5 cm, width 13.8 cm, depth 16.0 cm., A ceramic pitcher with a rounded body, a curved handle, and a spout, shown against a plain gray background; the exterior glaze is primarily off-white or cream with visible crackling and a glossy brown interior around the rim; decorative painted motifs wrap around the body in dark green or black lines forming abstract bird-like shapes and dotted patterns, with a band of reddish-pink near the neck and several reddish-pink circular spots near the base; areas of wear and small surface pits reveal a tan or light brown clay beneath.
