Wooden bench from a set of doll furniture. Wooden bench with a box closed by a flap forming a seat. Painted decoration with schematic animal silhouettes — a tabby cat on the backrest and chickens on the sides and front wall of the box. Toy, height 11.5 cm, width 17.0 cm, depth 8.0 cm. Made 1947–1948, Zakopane. Maker/creator: Kenar, Antoni 1906–1959; designed at the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Zakopane and produced by the Office of Production Aesthetics Supervision 1947–1949., A rectangular wooden box with a pale beige wood grain finish sits against a light gray background, showing a taller back panel and shorter front with visible joinery at the corners; one side panel features a red hand-drawn stylized bird or rooster-like figure and some decorative red markings, and the wood shows natural variations in light brown and tan tones with some darker brown edges and small scuff marks.
