Sugar bowl with lid from the Baltyk set, Cmielów SA Porcelain and Ceramic Products Factory 1920–1939; 1946–1951. Designer: Bogumil Marcinek 1904–1940. White glazed porcelain sugar bowl, decorated with orange overglaze paint. Vessel slightly widened toward the top and slightly flared, narrowed at the bottom by three concave arched recesses highlighted with orange overglaze lines. Two upper-side handles arch outward with decorative shapes of three semicircular protrusions ending in scrolls; lower surfaces of the handles painted orange. The handle shapes and orange stripes on the lid echo the arched concave recesses of the lower part. ca. 1930., A set of white ceramic tableware sits on a reflective surface against a gray background, including a tall teapot with a handle and a spout, a lidded sugar bowl with two curved handles, and a teacup on a saucer; the pieces feature several thin orange bands and orange accent areas on handles, spout, and lid tops, with highlights and reflections visible on the glossy surfaces.
