Portrait of a Man with a Spanish Moustache, unknown artist, male portrait, copy/foreign miniature, amateur hand, dated ca. 1850–1900? Bust slightly right. Straight black hair, slightly longer at the back, a few highlights on the forehead, black Spanish moustache, sunburnt face with a strong flush. At the neck, a white collar trimmed with a pleated ruffle, a golden-brown caftan wams. Background dark olive, slightly lighter on the right. Miniature; height 7.0 cm, width 5.4 cm. On the reverse a card with the inscription letter from the first quarter of the 20th century: N 70./Inventory. Binding: none., An oval painting of a person with short dark hair and a dark mustache, showing a face with pinkish and peach skin tones and slightly rosy cheeks; the person wears a white ruffled collar and a dark garment with brown and yellowish-gold highlights, all set against a dark brown oval background surrounded by a gray rectangular outer area.
